Norma Jean Myers, 86, widow of Dennie Wilmer Myers, Jr., departed this life on Dec. 10, 2018. She was born in Parkersburg, the daughter of the late William Henry Blair and Chessie Miller Blair. She is survived by one daughter, Patricia A. Jividen and husband (Gregory) of Frederick, Maryland, grandchildren Grace Jividen of Colombia, Maryland, and Thomas Jividen, Gig Harbor, Washington, and sister, Frances Barickman, Little Hocking, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her son Gerald Thomas Myers, daughter Vicki James, and sister Carolyn Miller. She was a 1950 graduate of Parkersburg High School and worked one half day during her senior year at Parkersburg Creamery. She was employed for 28 years at (American Cyanamid Company) Cytec Industries at Willow Island, W. Va. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Parkersburg. She enjoyed working word puzzles and feeding wild birds every day. She loved her dog, Max. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018, at Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. in Parkersburg, W.Va. with Dr. Kurt Busiek officiating. Friends may call at Lambert Tatman Funeral Home from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018, or one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet, Parkersburg, W.Va.
