Norma Lee Batton Curfman, 90, of Williamstown, passed away March 24, 2026 at the Elizabeth Care Center. She was born July 28, 1935 in Spencer, WV, a daughter to the late Howard and Vera Lawrentz Batton.
Norma was a homemaker, sharing her home with her late husband, Leo Curfman, whom she married November 8, 1973 in Bristol, VA. She was a member at the Westminster Presbyterian Church where she was a deaconess. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and fishing.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Gayle Hoschar; grandchildren, Jeremy Dye, Brittany Shutts, Cameron (Devin) Franz, and Lucas, Brooklyn, Mollie, and Logan Hoschar; great-grandchildren, Jaylee and BreAnn Dye, Gracelyn and Jonah Shutts, Parker Quinn, and Theo and Leighton Franz; and her beloved companion dog, Gina Marie.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her son, Ronald Hoschar; grandson-in-law, David Shutts; and four brothers.
A graveside service is being planned and will be announced at a later date.
Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, South Parkersburg, has been entrusted with Norma’s final arrangements and are honored to serve her family.
