Nina “Marie” Tracewell, 92, beloved mother and grandmother, of Belpre passed away April 4, 2015 at Marietta Memorial Hospital, Marietta, Ohio. She was born Feb. 10, 1923 in Wood County, W.Va. daughter of the late William and Jenny Myrtle James Deem. Marie was a homemaker, enjoying sewing and quilting.Her favorite pastimes were working jigsaw puzzles and word searches.She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 9053 in Tuppers Plains, OH.She is survived by three children, Geneva Caplinger of Lubeck, W.Va., Phillip Gordon of Athens, TN, and Pamela Gordon of Belpre, OH; two step-daughters; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by three husbands, Francis Burton, Charles Gordon and William Tracewell, a son, Jack Gordon; a daughter, Donna Jean Patterson; granddaughter, Brenda Lilly; a son-in-law, Paul Caplinger; and four brothers and three sisters.Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg. Burial will follow at Decatur Methodist Cemetery, Little Hocking, OH.
