Nile Kenneth Armstrong, died on January 21, 2017, at home. He was born May 30, 1938, in Parkersburg, the son of the late Kenneth Franklin Armstrong and Garnet Hofmann Armstrong Price. He was a Navy veteran and retired from DuPont after 34 years. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Edwina Lloyd Armstrong, and his three children, Cynthia (Kenny), Kenneth (Belinda), and Anne Marie. Nile has ten grandchildren: Sarah, Addison (Marcus), Selby (Zakk), Kent, Jacob, Zach, Katie, Ryan, Rachel, and Nick. He also has four great-grandchildren: Devlin, Sophie, Edwina, and Harper. He is survived by his brother, Robert Armstrong, of Louisa, Kentucky, and was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Ann Veyon, and several aunts and uncles. He donated his body to WVU Sciences, and there will be no services held at his request.
