Neva B. Esenwine

Neva B. Esenwine, 97, of Parkersburg passed away Saturday, October 26, 2019 at the Worthington Healthcare Center. She was born April 7, 1922 in Noyes, PA, a daughter of the late James and Pearl Walters. Neva had previously worked at the Kissel Company in mortgage services and at Edgewater Development where she was a property manager. She enjoyed the Senior Citizens Society, playing bingo, story telling and was a member of the Mt. Healthy United Methodist Church in Ohio. Neva is survived by her one, John F. Esenwine (Marjorie) of Parkersburg; her daughter, Sharon A. Engel of West Chester, Ill.; grandchildren, Daniel Linthicum, Steven Linthicum (Melissa), Allison Esenwine (Christopher Meisel), Krista Pierson (John), and Lynn McGehee; and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Neva was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel D. Esenwine Jr.; two brothers, Lewis and James Walters Jr.; and three sisters, Gladys Sykes, Mary Emma Faxon and Althea Lucas. Memorial services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Green St., Parkersburg is assisting the family with arrangements.
