Nelson Hays Rinehart, 83, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away on Feb. 8, 2015 at Camden Clark Medical Center.He was born March 11, 1931, in Marietta, Ohio, a son of the late Woodford R. and Wanda Riddle Rinehart.Nelson was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served in the Korean Conflict.He retired from Sears and Roebuck with over 20 year of service. He attended Homeland and Hearts of Worship Churches.He is survived by his wife, Hazel Roberta Lemon Rinehart; one daughter, Lois J. Rinehart of Parkersburg; two granddaughters, Julie (Bill) Wilson and Andrea (Greg) Woolard; three great-grandchildren, Hannah Wilson and Alex and Adam Woolard; four sisters, Sarah Barker of Davisville; Charlotte Gregg of Grafton, Ohio, Connie Engle of New Cumberland, Pa., and Carolyn Stalnaker of Ravenswood, W.Va.; one brother, Ronnie R. Rinehart of Parkersburg; one sister-in-law, Martha Rinehart of Logan, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Charles W. Rinehart.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 13, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., south Parkersburg with Pastor Tim Henson officiating.Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens with full military rites by American Legion Post #15.Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 12, and one hour prior to services on Friday at the funeral home.
