Naomi Ruth Deem, 86, of Vienna, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on February 14, 2018. She was born on March 22, 1931 in Parkersburg, WV a daughter of the late William and Mabel C. Cordray Stevens. Naomi was a home maker and attended Assembly of God on Marrtown Road. Those left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Catherine (Randal) Hickman of Parkersburg, Melanie McCormick of Vienna, and Tina (Roger) Carr of Deerwalk; two sons, Mark (Carrie Hager) Deem and Stephen (Deena Jo) Deem, both of Parkersburg; three step-daughters, Edna Ellen (David) Copen of Parkersburg, Nora Jean (George) Savley of Vienna and Georgia Garten of Salem, Ohio; two step-sons, Vane (Carolyn) Deem of Parkersburg and Seymore Deem of Leachtown; 14 grandchildren; 18 step-grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; along with a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Floyd E. Deem; second husband, Roy F. Deem; and a step-son, Larry Deem. Funeral services for Naomi will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg with Pastor Nathan Copen officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to services on Sunday.
