Nancy Catherine Duty

Nancy Catherine (Bruce) Duty, 93, passed away September 5, 2026, at Eagle Pointe Healthcare Center in Parkersburg, West Virginia. She was born November 28, 1932, in Lockport, NY to the late Reverend John E. and Linda Sullivan Bruce.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda M. Wilcox (Tim) of Raleigh, NC; two sons, Ted Duty (Nancy) of Eatonton, GA and Douglas Duty (Pam) of Taylor Mill, KY; nine grandchildren, Kristen Shafer, Heather Evans, Brooke Cox, Sophie Duty, Collin Duty, Tyler Duty, Morgan Kraus, Bethany Underwood, Ryan Wilcox; nine great-grandchildren, Audrey, Lexi, Kynsley, Everleigh, Maverick, Presley, Beckham, Aurora and Rowyn, who is soon to arrive.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Earl Duty; several brothers and sisters.

Nancy was devoted to God and deeply loved her family. Her passion in caring for others was evidenced throughout the entirety of her life.

Visitation will begin at 2:00pm on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Green Street. Pastor Mike Elder will officiate a Celebration of Life service immediately following.
