Nancy Jo Batton

Nancy Jo Gilbert Batton, 69, of Parkersburg, passed away after many years of illness on June 12, 2024. She was born September 11, 1954, a daughter to the late William Gilbert Sr., and Grace and Ralph Enoch.

She is a 1972 graduate, and Red Wing, from Parkersburg High School. She retired from Dupont, and was a member at the First Christian Church. She enjoyed walking the beach and collecting seashells, and especially enjoyed her time with the Girls of 72.

Left to carry her memory is her husband, Doug, of 43 years; her beloved daughters, Aimee Creech and Tracie Creech; her cherished grandchildren, Hannah Barajas, Emily Bond, Dylan Semones, Jenna Farrell, Brady Creech, and Alex Berry; her siblings, William Gilbert, Gene Enoch (Barb), Michael Enoch, Joseph Enoch (Maria), Karen Turner, Mike Wildt, Pat Wildt, and Bill Lee; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandparents; two brothers, Victor Gilbert and Gerald Enoch; and brother-in-law, Keith Turner.

Per Nancy’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
