Nadine Witte, 84, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away July 10, 2015 at her residence, surrounded by her family; dear sister, Emogene Tingler and her dear cousin, Thelma Nichols.She was born July 7, 1931 in Roane County, W.Va., the daughter of the late Rev. Dennis and Beulah Westfall Smith.Nadine was a homemaker, a member of North Parkersburg Baptist Church and enjoyed reading the Bible faithfully, playing cards with her friends, traveling and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.She is survived by three sons, Brian D. Witte (Sheri) of Akron, Ohio, Terry L. Witte (Stephanie) of St. Leonard, Md. and Jerry A. Witte (Bonnie) of Chester, Va.; seven grandchildren, Adam, Cameron, and Garrett Witte of St. Leonard, Md., Christina and David Witte of Akron, Ohio, and Ellie and Lilly Witte of Chester, Va.; brothers, Jack Smith (Ina Jean) of Newton, W.Va. and Jarrett Smith (Sharon) of Newton, W.Va.; one sister, Emogene Tingler (Delmas) of Williamstown, W.Va.; and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Leon Witte on September 17, 1999.Funeral services for Nadine will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green Street, Parkersburg with Pastor Mike Towner officiating. Burial will follow the service at Lynch Cemetery in Arnoldsburg, W.Va. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.The family would like to thank Dr. Kelli Cawley and Housecalls Hospice for their care and kindness given to Nadine.
