Myrle V. Cosner

Myrle V. Cosner 90, passed away September 22, 2016 at Camden Clark Medical Center. Myrle was from Vienna, W.Va. but for the last several months resided at Cedar Grove Assisted Living. She was born November 9, 1925 in Wood County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Forest and Bessie Atkinson Dailey. Myrle was a homemaker and enjoyed playing cards, dominos and bingo with her special friends. She was a “Red Hatter” and attended Vienna Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Evelyn Terrell (Bill) of Vienna and Beverly Gunter (Langdon) of Myrtle Beach, SC; two sons, David Cosner (Becky) of Marietta Ohio and Mark Cosner (Brenda) of Waverly, W.Va.; eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, JoAnn Cain of Vienna and Irene Williams (Gordon) of Macon, GA; one brother, Gary Dailey of Mt. Pleasant, TX; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William W. Cosner; three brothers; and two sisters. Funeral services for Myrle will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna with Pastor Jerry Murphy officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen North Cemetery. Visitation will be from Noon until service time Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Parkersburg Humane Society. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr, Kelil and staff and to the staff at Cedar Grove Assisted Living for their love and care.
