Myra Lou George Pitts, 55 of Vienna, W.Va. passed away March 20, 2016 at Cleveland Clinic. She was born June 20, 1960 in Parkersburg the daughter of the late Willis Eugene and Thelma Lou West George. Myra graduated from Belpre High School and was a graduate of Washington State College in Cosmetology. She was a homemaker and previously worked at Jo Ann Fabric's. She was a very talented seamstress and loved to make crafts and making outfits for her grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and shopping. Myra was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Vienna. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Steve Pitts; one daughter, Stacie Lou Pitts (Josh Snider) of Barlow, Ohio; one son, David Eugene Pitts (Megan) of Parkersburg, W.Va.; one sister, Lisa Lane (Edsel) of Belpre, Ohio; two brothers, Karl George (Kathy) of Belpre, Ohio and Earl George (Chris McClumphy) also of Belpre; one brother-in-law, Scott Pitts of Vienna; grandchildren, Jaiden Pitts, Molly Pitts and Jesse Snider; and many aunts and uncles. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her grandparents and her mother and father-in-law. Services for Myra will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Wesley United Methodist Church in Vienna, with Pastor Caroline Nettles officiating. Inurnment of ashes will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Parkersburg at a later date. Visitation will be held Friday from 3:00 P.M.to 5:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church.
