Morgan Renee Grimm 18, of Vienna, W.Va. passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016, from injuries sustained from an automobile accident. She was born July 18, 1998 in Parkersburg, W.Va., a daughter of Jeffrey L. and Nevella R. Wright Grimm. Morgan graduated from PHS with the class of 2016 with honors, and was a member of the PHS Crew Team, and the National Technical Honor Society. Morgan was currently attending West Virginia University in Morgantown, W.Va. and was a member of the WVU Rowing Team. Morgan had eyes as bright as the moon and a smile to light up a room. A life full of promises and endless possibilities, a star so bright on Earth that she had to be taken to the heavens to light up the darkest sky of night. In addition to her parents she is survived by two sisters, Jocelyn Leigh Grimm and Savannah Lorraine Wade both of Vienna; her boyfriend and love of her life, Haden McAtee of Parkersburg; her maternal grandparents, Walter and Alegra Roberts Wright of Vienna; her paternal grandmother, Mary Lou Houghtaling of West Palm Beach, FL.; her maternal great-grandmother, Clara Roberts of Vienna; aunt, Krista Grimm Brockway (Robert) of West Palm Beach, FL; great-aunt and uncle, Suette Roberts (Jerry Reed) of Huntington; great aunt and uncle, Charlene Wright Boyd (Joe) of Vienna; great-uncle, Robert K. Wright (Diane) of Parkersburg; cousins Paige and Zain Ahmed of Charlotte, NC and Brian Rowley of Arkansas and several other nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Roderick Laurence Grimm; her maternal great-grandfather, Dan Roberts; her paternal grandfather, Edward Houghtaling; her great-grandparents, Walter B. Wright. Sr. and Elma M. Wright and aunt, Brenda Grimm. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 Thursday, September 22, 2016 at New Hope Baptist Church, Rosemar Road, Vienna, with Pastors Tom Stevens, David Easter, and Luke Easter officiating. Visitation will be 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00, Wednesday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna and one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday.
