Mitchell A. Deem, 57 of Williamstown, W.Va. passed away July 31, 2016 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born Aug. 8, 1958 in Parkersburg, W.Va., son of the late Denver Larry and Ruth Ann Wilson Deem. He was a graduate of Warren High School and was employed by WeCan Fabricators in Tuppers Plains, OH. He loved four wheeling, Harley riding and vacationing with his family. He loved his animals. He is survived by his wife, Charlene Deem; daughter, Michelle Dowell of Little Hocking, OH; step-son, John David Maxson II (Diedra) of Parkersburg; step-daughters, Tara Maxson and Lacey Collins both of Williamstown; sisters, Tonya Huffman (Bill) of Parkersburg and Robin Lemon of Belpre; grandchildren, Jayden Dowell, EmmiJenn Dowell, Keegan Maxson, Xyler Maxson and Faithlyn Cotes; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Mitchell was preceded in death by his first wife, Pamela Ann Mayo Deem. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, 2016 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg, WV with Christopher Daggett officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be noon to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
