Mindy Jean Lorenz

Mindy Jean Runner Lorenz, 38, of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away on April 28, 2014 at her residence.She was born July 31, 1975, in Parkersburg, a daughter of Jess and Joy Haynes Runner of Elizabeth, W.Va.Mindy was a graduate of Wirt County High School with the class of 1994 and was a supervisor with REM Health Care. She loved reading, crocheting, crafts, collecting Hello Kitty and was an animal lover.In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 19 years, Lee Lorenz; siblings, Angie Pappaianni of Elizabeth, W.Va., James Runner of Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo., and Sierra Runner of Elizabeth; brother-in-law, George Lorenz of Parkersburg, W.Va.; aunts and uncles, Carl and Diane Wade of Rockport, W.Va., Edward and Carolyn Piggott of Elizabeth and Larry and Carol Menafee of Elizabeth; two nephews, Jessie and Gabriel Pappaianni; one nephew and niece, Ethan and Kayley Runner, and their mother, Cari Runner; great-aunts, Betty Boyce of Parkersburg and Ann Wells of Mt. Vernon; several cousins; and her baby puppies.She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Walter and Eva Haynes and J.B. and Audra Runner; one uncle, Walter “Bud” Haynes Jr.; and great-uncle, William Boyce.Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., Parkersburg, W.Va. Interment will follow at Big Tygart Cemetery in Rockport. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
