Mildred M. “Mickey” Harman, 90, of Parkersburg, W.Va. died Friday Feb. 3, 2012 after a brief illness.She was born Sept. 15, 1921 in Clarington, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles and Bertha Cook. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Francis J. “Frank” Harman, in 1989 and sisters, Evelyn Clark and Dorothy Cook.Mickey is survived by her two sons, Jay Harman of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Charles R. “Chuck” Harman and wife, Patty of Morgantown, W.Va.; grandson, Charles R “Charlie” Harman, Jr. and fiancé, Paige Nicholas; granddaughter, Anne L. Harman and friend, Lucas Greza; and one sister, Ireta Jennewein of Powhatan Point, Ohio.She is remembered for her love of her children and grandchildren, and her kindness and generosity to everyone.Memorial contributions can be made to the Francis J. and Mildred M. Harman Memorial Scholarship Fund, WVU Foundation, PO Box 1650, Morgantown, WV 26507.Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, Feb. 6, 2012 at the Christ United Methodist Church, 715 16th Street Parkersburg, W.Va. with the Reverend Doctor Thomas D. McDowell officiating. Burial will be at Clarington Cemetery in Clarington, Ohio.Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green Street Parkersburg, W.Va. and one hour prior to services Monday at the church._____________________________________________________
