Michelle Lea Fought age 46 of Belpre, Ohio passed away Saturday, June 25, 2016 at her residence. She was born July 27, 1969 in Charleston, W.Va., a daughter of Ruth Ratliff Asbury of Mineral Wells, W.Va. and the late Kenneth Ray Asbury. Michelle was a 1987 graduate of Parkersburg South High School and graduated from West Virginia University at Parkersburg. She was retired from the Bureau of Fiscal Service where she was a branch manager. Michelle enjoyed scrapbooking, crafts, golfing, going to the beach, and was Methodist by faith. She is survived by her mother, Ruth Asbury; her son, Matthew Fought (Shaylin Roberts) of Parkersburg; her daughter, Jennifer Fought (Phillip Custred) of Parkersburg; her two brothers, Jim Asbury of Mineral Wells and Mike Asbury of Hampton, Va.; her sister, Becky Ober (Philip) of Sterling, Va.; her granddaughter, Peyton Isabella Still; two nieces, Elizabeth Evans (Enoch) and Megan Ober; great nephews, Dylan, Philip, and Tristan Evans; and her best friend and caregiver, Carol Edwards. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her grandson, Cole Allen Still. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 29, 2016 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home,2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg with Pastor Rod Blanchard and Pastor Bobby Kyer officiating. Interment will follow at the Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the services Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
