Michael Duane Wilfong, 69, of MacFarlan, W.Va., passed away on September 24, 2015 at Worthington Manor.He was born May 28, 1946, in Gilmer County, W.Va., a son of the late Shirley and Rema Wright Wilfong.Michael was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Era and worked at Coldwater Creek. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and music.He is survived by one daughter, Cassandra “Cassy” Wilfong of Fairmont, W.Va.; one son, Jeremiah (Heather) Wilfong of Westminster, MD; two sisters, Wanda (Don) Metz of Ravenswood, W.Va. and Sharon (Bud) White of Parkersburg, W.Va.; two brothers, Freeman “Bud” (Maria) Wilfong of Medina, OH and Leonard (Lola) Wilfong of Murphytown, W.Va.; three grandchildren, Dakota Wilfong, Amanda London and Carson Wilfong; and one great-granddaughter, Anna London.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Joshua Wilfong and Shawn Wilfong.A memorial service will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 28, 2015 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., South Parkersburgwith Pastor Rob Collins officiating and military honors by American Legion Post 15, Parkersburg.Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
