Michael Trent Vickers

Michael Trent Vickers, 78, of Washington, WV, passed away December 24, 2024 at the Charleston Select Specialty Hospital. He was born June 20, 1946 in Madison, a son of the late Thomas and Sydney McCallister Vickers.

After graduation he served our country honorably in the United States Air Force. Afterwards he worked at Dupont as an operator. He enjoyed bowling, camping, collecting coins, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers.

Michael is survived by his children, Mechelle Radford (Rich) and Brian Vickers; two sisters, Anne Noel and Sherry Wade; a brother, Terry “Joe” Vickers; grandchildren, Mika, Kandra, Trinity, Seraphina, Hailyn, and Korri; a great-grandson, Vaun James; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty L. Vickers; and two brothers, Thomas “Tommy” Vickers and Ivan Lewis Vickers.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., south Parkersburg with Chad Vickers officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen North Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
