Michael Anthony Mcintyre

Michael Anthony McIntyre, 52 of Williamstown, WV passed away June 12. Michael was born to Thomas and Nancy (Vance) McIntyre on February 23, 1967. He graduated from Parkersburg South High School in 1985. Michael was employed with Dominion Hope Gas for 30 plus years. Michael loved his job and considered his co-workers a part of his family. Michael was a member of the Mid-Ohio Valley NWTF, the Moose Lodge, and a Mason. He enjoyed bowling, playing poker, hunting, fishing, photography, working on pinewood derby cars, and was passionate about caring for his lawn. Michael is survived by his wife Shelly (McIntosh) McIntyre, and his four children, Mikah Jo McIntyre, Elijah T. McIntyre, Ethan M. McIntyre, and Ashtyn M. McIntyre. Also surviving him are his siblings Tommy McIntyre, Tim (Mary) McIntyre, John (Lori) McIntyre, Becky (Mike) Synder, and James (Misty) McIntyre. He is also survived by his in laws and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Tom and Nancy McIntyre. The family would like to thank the staff at Marietta Memorial Hospital, Moffitt Cancer Center, Housecalls Hospice, and Strecker Cancer Center for the loving care that they provided. Many thanks to all the friends, family, and community members who supported our family during the last year and a half. Visitation will be Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Lambert Tatman Funeral Home in Southside Parkersburg, 2333 Pike Street. The funeral will be at 11:00 am Friday, June 14, 2019 with John Longfellow officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. A meal will follow at Pine Grove Baptist Church at 12717 Emerson Ave, Parkersburg, WV.
