The link is below his picture.Dr. Michael William Johnson, 58, of Mineral Wells, W.Va., passed away on July 25, 2012 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.He was born March 8, 1954, in Parkersburg, W.Va., a son of Robert and Geneva Reed Johnson of Parkersburg.Dr. Mike was a graduate of Parkersburg South High School with the class of 1972.He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the National College of Chiropractic Practice in Lombard, Ill. and owned and operated his private practice, Johnson Chiropractic Center, for 35 years and was a member of the ACA and Chiropractic Board. Johnson Chiropractic Center was the recipient of the 2009 Viewer's Choice Award for best chiropractic office with the Parkersburg News and Sentinel. He was the owner of Western Sizzlin Restaurant, former president of the Parkersburg South Wrestling Boosters, was a member of the Corvette Club, SCCA, and a supporter of the 4-H Boosters.He had attended First Evangelical Methodist Church.Dr. Mike was a loving, devoted father and a strong supporter of all sports programs.He was a caring, compassionate man who loved how his occupation allowed him to help and heal people.He gave to anyone who needed help and also supported many charities and organizations.In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son, Jason (Kristen) Johnson of Parkersburg; two grandchildren, Brayden and Allison Johnson of Parkersburg ; one daughter, Megan Johnson of Parkersburg; two sisters, Susan Diane Akers of Parkersburg; Christie Lynn (Dave) Debarr of Davisville, W.Va.; his former wife, Elizabeth “Beth” Johnson of Parkersburg; several aunts and uncles; several nieces and nephews; his longtime girlfriend, Christina Whiting of Belpre, Ohio and her daughters, Kathryn Shrader, Rebecca and Elizabeth Whiting.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., south Parkersburg with Pastor Jeff Williamson officiating.Visitation will be from 12 noon – 8:00 p.m. on Friday July 27, 2012 and from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday July 28, 2012, at the funeral home.
