Michael Bradley "Duck" Rogers

Michael Bradley “Duck” Rogers, 69, departed this life on January 25, 2018, in Wilmington, NC. He was born on February 22, 1948, in Pennsboro, WV, to the late Lewis Ford Rogers and C. Rowena Ford Rogers. He graduated from Pennsboro High School with the class of '66. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving aboard the USS Muliphen. He was an area businessman and treasure hunting enthusiast. He was a member of the Church of Christ and attended several local churches. Mike leaves behind his wife of 45 years, Lenora Dorsey Rogers; son and daughter-in-law, Andrew and Britt Rogers of Wilmington, NC; and his beloved granddaughter, Ruby; sisters, Lisa (Lamar) Croom of Havelock, NC, and Pam (Mike) Nichols of Pennsboro, WV; brothers, Bill (Harietta) Rogers of St. Marys, WV, and Lewis (Julia) Rogers of Pennsboro, WV; and special brother and sister-in-law, John and Marcella Dorsey of Vienna, WV; as well as several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Orton Armstrong for the care he gave Mike throughout the years. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 5, 2018, at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home in Vienna, WV. There will be a reception following the service until 1:00 p.m. .
