Michael E. Dodd

Michael E. Dodd Sr., 58, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away June 3, 2016 at his residence. He was born March 25, 1958, in Alexandria, VA, a son of the late Edward and Sadie Mills Dodd. Michael was a graduate of Thomas Edison High School in Alexandria, VA. He worked at Giant Food in Virginia. He was a Volunteer Fireman for the Franconia, VA Volunteer Fire Department. He is survived by his two sons, Michael E. Dodd Jr. of Parkersburg and Matthew S. Dodd of Washington, W.Va.; one sister, Evelyn Horoszewski of Dale City, VA; one grandson, Ethan Dodd of Parkersburg; a sister in-law, Lisa Misfeldt of Parkersburg; a nephew, Tim Misfeldt of Parkersburg; a niece, Kimberly Misfeldt of Alabama; special friends, Rodney and Carrye Wilson of Washington, W.Va.; his cat “Cuddles”. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Dodd. At Michaels request there will be no visitation or services.
