Medeana Gail Moffitt

Medeana Gail Moffitt, 62, of New Martinsville, WV passed away peacefully, December 7th, 2025, surrounded by the ones who matter most, and under the compassionate care of Amedisys Hospice.

Daughter of the late George Raymond and Geraldine Delores Moffitt, Medeana was born May 4th, 1963, in Moundsville, WV. She was known for her loving kindness. She served many jobs, but above all, she was a great mother, sister, and friend. She was very strong willed and independent, and loved spending her time doing arts and crafts.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ricky Dean Moffitt and David R. Moffitt; and sisters, Cathy Lynn Moffitt and Velma Leek Smith.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Belinda Hartline (William) and Latisha Francis; grandchildren, Deanna and Caden McDougle, and Nakoma and Oceanna Francis; sister, Joyce Hartline Peckens (Roger); several nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and nephews; especially Ashley and Kenzye Hartline, whom she loved dearly.

There will be no public services, and a private cremation will take place.
