May E. Woollard

May E. Woollard, 86, of Parkersburg, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on August 8, 2011, at her residence.She was born June 26, 1925, in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Okey Lee and Rosa Lee Lemley Dailey.May had been employed with the former Yonkers Manufacturing and G.C. Murphy Companies, of Parkersburg. She and her late husband actively participated in Ben Bey Grotto and the Shrine Hillbilly's. She formerly attended Calvary Memorial Church and was a current member of Cornerstone Gospel Church.Surviving is one daughter, Carol Lynn Smith and husband Tom of Washington, W.Va.; four sons, Roger D. Woollard and wife Peggy of Parkersburg, W.Va., Randy Woollard and wife Mary of Vienna, W.Va., Danny K. Woollard and wife Terri of Parkersburg, W.Va., and Timothy R. Woollard and wife Kathy of Vienna, W.Va., one sister, Alberta Fleak of Vincent, OH; one brother, Eugene Hoschar of Lubeck, W.Va.; grandchildren, Candace Christie and husband, Jeff, Brandon M. Full, Amy Cochran and husband, Michael, Melissa Mackey and husband, Chris, Bryan Woollard and wife, Sonja, Jason Woollard and wife, Tina, Travis Woollard, Meghan Woollard, Corey McPherson, Zack Blevins and Abbi Blevins; and eight great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jiles E. “Ji” Woollard in 2008; three brothers; two sisters; and one granddaughter.Funeral services will be conducted 2PM Wednesday August 10, 2011, at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., Parkersburg, with Dr. Russell Hosey officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-9PM on Tuesday August 9, 2011, at the funeral home.
