Matthew Isac Tingler

Matthew “Matt” Isac Tingler, 27 of Parkersburg, W.Va. joined his family in Heaven Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2016 from his residence. He was born Aug. 24, 1989 in Weston, W.Va., son of Sherrie Louise Yeager Hardman and the late Evan Grover Tingler. He assisted the handicapped as a caregiver with Rescare in Parkersburg. Matt was a very loving, caring person who cherished his family and friends, especially his children. He enjoyed fishing and the Pittsburg Steelers. Matt is survived by his mother; a daughter, June Smith of Parkersburg; a son, Roger Smith III also of Parkersburg; fiancé, Nikki Nicole Jones of Parkersburg; two sisters, Alicia Patterson of Clarksburg, W.Va. and Jennifer Hardman of Pennsylvania; a brother, Evan B. Tingler (Jessica) of Parkersburg; three aunts, Kathy Tingler, Edith Elliott and Ellen Wright; and three uncles, Earlin Tingler, Ernie Tingler and Billy Yeager. In addition to his father, Matt was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Berlin and Kathyleen Tingler; maternal grandparents, William and Sharron Yeager; two uncles, Jimmy Yeager and Eddie Wright; and an aunt, April Tubb. Funeral service will be at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg with Pastor Kelly Schultz officiating. Visitation will be from 2-6 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home.
