Mary V. Chapman Sturm,88, of Vienna, W.Va. went to be with the Lord April 13, 2015 at Wyngate Senior Living in Vienna.She was born January 1, 1927 in Barren Creek, W.Va., the daughter of the late Willie P. and Easel J. Hill Chapman.Mary graduated from Clendenin High School in 1945 and Capital Hill Community College in Charleston, W.va. with a degree in business. She was a secretary for Sturm Supply Co. and earlier the C & P Telephone Co. She was a lifelong Christian and a Methodist by faith. She enjoyed ceramics and sewing.She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Sue Smith of Vienna and Sharon Carol Lowe (Conrad) of Columbus, OH; one son, Sheldon Ray Sturm (Diane Lynn) of Palm Beach, FL; one brother, Jack Chapman (Beth) of Scott Depot, W.Va.; eight grandchildren, Rachel Williams (Terry), Billy Smith (Heather), Jamie Wosje (Jon), Amy Stephens (Kevin), Katelyn Richison (Alex), Stephen Sturm, Austin Sturm and Stefan Chapman; nine great-grandchildren, Trent and Reagan Williams, Jenna and Justin Wosje, Avery and Lauren Smith and Kolby,Allison Stephens and Sadie Richison.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Kendall Sturm in August of 2012; sister, Etta Callen; and a brother, Willie P. Chapman, Jr.Visitation will be on Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va.
