A Memorial Video to Mary is now available on this site. Mary “Karen” Coffman Diamond Richardson, age 69 of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away Saturday, February 20, 2016 at her residence. She was born March 9, 1946 in Greenbrier County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Alfred and Lota Bragg Coffman. Karen was retired from St. Joseph's Hospital and was previously a beautician. She enjoyed dancing, shopping, going out to lunch with her friends, traveling – visiting Las Vegas, and spending time with her grandchildren. Karen is survived by her children, John Christopher Diamond (Heidi) of Mineral Wells, W.Va. and Ashli Nicewarner (Ron) of Marietta, Ohio; former spouse and father of their children, Bill Diamond of Mineral Wells; step-children, Theresa Dugan (Brien) of Belpre, Ohio and Richard Bruce Richardson (Tina) of Parkersburg; beloved friend, Judy Richardson of Parkersburg; she loved being Gaga to her grandchildren, Tayler & Jackson Petty, Brady & Kaya Nicewarner all of Marietta, Richia Richardson, and Blair Swindells both of Parkersburg, Tyler Richardson of Charlotte, NC, Shawn Dugan (Emily) of Belpre and Kaylynn Borenstein (Drew) of Pickerington, Ohio; four great-grandchildren; and several “adopted” children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oral Bruce Richardson Jr., June 18, 2012; and her brother, Sam Coffman. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Green St., Parkersburg with Pastor Brian Arthur officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday 11 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
