Mary Lucille Napier

October 4, 1929 — February 22, 2024

Mary L. Napier, 94, of Vienna, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 22, 2024 surrounded by her family.
She was born October 4, 1929, in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Hayward and Hazel E. Corbin Bartlett.
Mary was previously employed with A.B. Chance in production. She played on the All-State Softball team and was also a bowler. Mary was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
She is survived by her eight children, Steve Gant (Sandy) of Belpre, Rick Gant (Angie) of Vienna, Gary Gant of Portland, OR, Debbie Anderson (Marty) of Parkersburg, Kevin Gant of Vienna, Shauna Short (Carl) of Tennessee, Kristi Gant of Vienna and Sheryl Ballengee (Jay) of Vienna; sixteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred E. Gant; and three brothers, Ray E. Bartlett, James E. “Jim” Bartlett, and Lowell G. “Tink” Bartlett.
Graveside inurnment services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, March 1, 2024, at the Evergreen South Cemetery with Pastor Jim Yoak officiating.
The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice and Nurse, Jen Pinkerton for the love and support given to Mary.
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made to Amedisys Hospice 2200 Grand Central Ave. Suite 102, Vienna, WV. 26105.
