Mary Lou Montgomery Cox, 89, of Mineral Wells, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born September 17, 1930 in Wood County, WV, the first daughter of the late E. Hilton and Blanche M. Yoho Montgomery. Mary Lou was a 1949 graduate of PHS and was a member of Grace Gospel Church in Pettyville. Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Carolyn S. Raines (Jerry) and Linda J. Radcliff (Cliff); two sons, Douglas H. Cox and David L. Cox (Jennifer); two sisters, Barbara J. Parsons (Robert) and Janet Hardman (Jim); sister-in-law, Marge Montgomery. She was a loving grandmother to seven grandchildren, Dr. Jason Barton, Jessica Thomas, Ashley Smith, Danielle Daggett, Kendra Hatfield, Dr. Carlee Squires and Dr. Wesley Cox and 12 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold L. Cox; sister, Margaret J. Shaw; and brother Jack Montgomery. A celebration of Mary Lou’s Life will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Grace Gospel Church with Sterling Ball and Pastor Roger Benson officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 4:00 – 8:00 pm Tuesday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg and one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.
