Mary "Ann" Melissa Gray

Mary Melissa “Ann” Gray, 87 of Vienna, W.Va. passed away February 25, 2015 at the Arbors of Marietta.Ann was born November 6, 1927 in Smithfield, W.Va. She was the daughter of the late James and Lucinda Jane Edgell.Ann graduated from the College of Commerce in Wheeling, W.Va. and worked for Theisen, Brock, Frye, Erb & Leeper of Marietta, Ohio as a Legal Secretary for 28 years. She was a Wood County School Secretary and was Ohio's Legal Secretary of the year in 1979. Ann was a member of the Pioneer Association of Legal Secretaries and a member of the Liberty Street Church of God in Parkersburg.Ann is survived by her husband of 70 years, Carlos L. Gray; one daughter, Sandra Pearl Rollyson (Rich) of Lubeck, W.Va.; one son, Carloss (Toby) Laverne Gray (Rebekah) of Clarksburg, w.Va.; six grandchildren, Carla Knapp (Robert), Melinda Helmick (Will), Tami Postlethwait (Tim), Stacy Thompson (Dave), Rick Berdine (Keri), Jeff Berdine, Derek Rollyson (Kara;) and twelve great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters and one great-granddaughter, Emily Spencer.A memorial service for Ann will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna, W.Va. A brief reception will be held at the funeral home following the memorial service.
