Mary Kay Longfellow, 71, 0f Seminole, Florida and formerly of Marietta, passed away Monday, February 19, 2018 at Suncoast Hospice Care Center. Mary Kay was born at Rinehart, Harrison County, WV January 25, 1947 a daughter of the late Charles Nicholas and Mary Jane DeMoss Brannon. She was a registered nurse and formerly employed at Health South Rehabilitation. Mary Kay most often served in private home health care. She was a member of Souls Harbor Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Jessica D. Gilbert (Robert) of Seminole, FL and Ginger S. Longfellow of Marietta; two sons, Robert W. Longfellow Jr. (Tammy) and Thomas E. Longfellow both of Marietta; one sister, Ruth Nolan of Parkersburg; one brother, Johnny Brannon of Chesepeake, MD; eight grandchildren, Michael Benson, Tiffany Jo Longfellow, Leanna Longfellow, Brayden Longfellow, Alex Longfellow, Colin Longfellow, Braxton Gilbert, and Brantley Gilbert; several nieces and nephews including Patty, Debbie and Sharon and a special friend Floyd Schmidt. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Longfellow was preceded in death by her husband of forty five years, Robert W. Longfellow Sr. in 2011 and one sister, Sarah Potts. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Monday at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna, WV with Pastor Robert Hughes officiating. Interment will be in the East Lawn Memorial Park, Reno, OH. The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. until time of services.
