It is with joy, not sadness, as family announce the passing of their dear sister, Mary “Linda” Wiblin Chipps, as she departed this world and ran into the arms of Jesus on October 4, 2025.
She was born July 2, 1947, the first of five children, and the apple of her Daddy’s eye. She grew up in South Parkersburg and graduated from Parkersburg High School with the class of 1965. Shortly after graduating, she married Roger Chipps and became a proud Air Force wife. They were stationed in Wichita, KS for several years, but eventually transferred to their permanent post in Titusville, FL. After Rogers death, she returned to the area to be close to her family, and settled in the Coolville, OH area.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Clair and Mary Wiblin and an infant brother. She is survived by her four brothers, Don Wiblin (Linda), Ron Wiblin (Murdiss), Ricky Wiblin (Ida), and Randy Wiblin (Beth); as well as several nieces and nephews.
Per her wishes, there will be no services at this time. A private memorial service will be planned by family at a later date.
The family would like to thank the staff at Eagle Point Nursing Home for the quality care and respect they showed Linda during her stay.
Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, South Parkersburg, has been entrusted with Linda’s final wishes and are honored to serve the family.
