Mary Louise Benson

Mary Louise Benson, 92, of Marietta, Ohio passed away on Dec. 27, 2014 at Marietta Center, Marietta, Ohio.She was born May 16, 1922, in Wittenberg, Wisconsin, a daughter of the late Art and Iva Williams Schaar.Mary worked in quality control and quilted as a hobby. She attended the Little Hocking United Methodist Church.She is survived by daughters, Mary Beth Hardesty of Torch, Ohio, Karen Kummerow (Craig), Gibson City, Illinois, and Tia Benson-Edgecomb (Ron), Woodstock, Illinois; nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-Grandchildren, eight nieces and two nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald A. Benson, two sons, Dale and Dennis Benson, two grandchildren, three brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation Services,1305 Washington Blvd. Belpre, Ohio with Rev. Jim Lynch officiating.
