Mary Elizabeth Bennett-Spiker

Mary Elizabeth Bennett Spiker, 75, formerly of Parkersburg, WV passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at the University of Cincinnati Hospital in West Chester, Ohio. She was born in Wood County, WV, on September 13, 1943, a daughter of the late Noah Lewis and Mary Evelyn Knopp Bennett. Mary was employed for many years by Nashua Photo. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church since 1954. She is survived by her three daughters, Robin Summers and Cynthia Spiker both of Columbus, OH and Brandi Spiker-Roof (Andy) of Lebanon, OH; two brothers, Michael (Karen) and Joseph (Bernadette) Bennett both of Parkersburg; four grandchildren, Emily Summers and Xavier Young both of Columbus, OH and Evelyn and Vivien Roof of Lebanon, OH; several beloved nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Clifford G. Spiker; and two brothers, Jack and Jim Bennett. A memorial service in her honor will be held at 6 pm. on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg. Visitation will be held from 4-6 pm. Saturday at the funeral home.
