Mary Ellen Allen

Mary Ellen Allen, 71, of Parkersburg, passed away Friday, December 13, 2019 at Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born May 24, 1948, in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Charles and Frances Tavenner Hose. Mary was a homemaker, who loved her dogs. She attended Trinity United Methodist Church in south Parkersburg. She is survived by three daughters, Hennda Claypool (Bob), Julie Moore (Gary) and Bendi Swisher (Mark) all of Parkersburg; four sons, Paul Bibbee of Parkersburg, Rick Bibbee (Becky) of Walker and Brian and Brent Sidwell both of Parkersburg; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; a very special cousin who was like her sister, Inky Barnett of Parkersburg. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Bibbee; her second husband, Michael Allen; one daughter, Brandi Bibbee; one sister, Carolyn Whited; and one brother, Rick Hose. Funeral services for Mary will be held at 1 pm on Friday, December 20, 2019 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg with Pastor David Carrico officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Williamstown. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Thursday and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
