Martha Louree Hanna

Martha “Louree” Skeen Hanna, 89, of Parkersburg, passed away Friday, October 2, 2026, at the Wyngate Assisted Living Facility. She was born in Kentuck, WV., to the late Donald and Glada Skeen.

She was a member of Union Valley Baptist Church. Louree attended Glenville State University and was the past president of CEO (Community Educational Outreach) with the WV extension. Spending time with family was her favorite thing to do.

She leaves behind her son, Bruce Hanna; daughter-in-law, Amy Tanner; granddaughter, Tabatha Tanner Steed; great-grandchildren; Sarah (Jake), Megan, Kirsten (Colt), and Ryan; as well as her great-great-grandchildren, Gunner, Ryder, Cheyeanne, Tanner, Ebby, Estella, TJ, Levi, Robert, Lula Louree, Jensen, and Daniel; several nieces and nephews; and brother and sisters-in-law.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Hanna; sons, Dennis Hanna and Craig Tanner; granddaughter, Heather Tanner Estel; sister, Anita; and brothers, Larry and Lanny.

A celebration of Life will be held at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, October 8, 2026 at the Union Valley Baptist Church with Doug Sandy officiating.

Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, South Parkersburg, has been entrusted with Louree’s final wishes and are honored to serve her family.
