Martha L. Delany

Martha Louise Delany, 83, of Parkersburg, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at The Willows Center. She was born November 9, 1933, in St. Mary’s WV, daughter of Benton and Margaret Locke Green. Martha worked at The St. Paul Lutheran Church for over twenty-five years as a Church Secretary. She enjoyed cloth doll making, crocheting and reading. She was Baptist by faith. She is survived by her two daughters, Rose Roberts (Jeffrey) and Jennifer Reed (James) both of Parkersburg; son, Thomas Delany (Debora) of Naples, FL; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Delany; and one sister, Janet Hoskinson. At Martha’s request there will be no services or visitation. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg is assisting the family.
