Martha J. Copeland

Martha J. Copeland, 75, of Parkersburg passed away January 18, 2021 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born August 6, 1945 in Wood County, WV daughter of the late Hunter Moss and Ethel Helen Shaver Cline. She worked for several years at St. Joseph Hospital in housekeeping. She enjoyed gardening, working outside, crafts and puzzles. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Michael Copeland; one son, Matthew S. Copeland of Parkersburg; one granddaughter, Madison Copeland of Parkersburg; two brothers, Danny Cline (Illa Marie) of Cutler, Ohio and Harvey Cline of Elizabeth. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Janet Lemon; and three brothers, Herman, Cecil and David Cline. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, January 22, 2021 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg with Pastor David Carrico officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
