Marsha Kay Buskirk, 67, of Parkersburg, passed away June 14, 2019 in Braxton County. She was born June 7, 1952 in Parkersburg, the daughter of the late Owen and Golda Starcher Caltrider. Marsha was a Sgt. in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years and later she retired from the Public Debt after 44 years of service. Marsha was an avid Walt Disney lover and was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Parkersburg. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Gary Buskirk ; 3 daughters, Jennifer Ross (Bobbie Jo) of Parkersburg, Debra Simons of Parkersburg and Christina Buskirk of Vienna; 1 son, Eric Buskirk (Treva) of Harrisville, WV; 2 sisters, Margaret Cox of New Philadelphia, OH, Stephanie Eaton (Richard) of Belleville, WV; 5 brothers, James “Bob” Caltrider (Janet) of Grafton, Frank Caltrider of Canal Winchester, OH, David Caltrider (Jeanne) of Parkersburg, Randy Caltrider of Lexington, KY and Rodney Caltrider of Florida; many grandchildren including, Gavin, Geneva, Gianna, Olivia and Myles, plus many great-grandchilden and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Mark and Scott Caltrider; granddaughter, Sabrina Simons and nephew, Mark Caltrider. Funeral services for Marsha will be held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg, beginning with full Military Honors conducted by American Legion Post #15 of Parkersburg. Her granddaughter, Pastor Katie Tennant will officiate. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 19th from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers Memorials may be sent to The St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Envelopes will be provided. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.lamberttatman.com.
