Marlys Lorraine Isely

Marlys Lorraine Isely, 82, of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away November 3, 2015 at Camden Clark Medical Center.She was born in Montevideo, Minnesota, the daughter of the late William H. and Gladys M. Wolfe Marholtz. She was a homemaker and enjoyed writing stories and songs. Marlys was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.Marlys is survived by her daughter, Eileen Bishop (Stephen) of Parsons, TN; two sisters, Corrine Marholtz and Doris Cummings (Glenn); and a brother, William Marholtz (Betty), all of Minnesota; two grandchildren, Tabitha “Holli” Harper and Levi J. Isley; and three great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, Marlys is preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Charles Isely; one grandson, Dustin Gayler; one brother, Roger Marholtz; and one sister, June Hoese.Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 9, 2015 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green Street, Parkersburg, W.Va.Burial will follow at the Parkersburg Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
