Mark Allen Samuelson

Mark Allen Samuelson, 62 of Belpre, Ohio passed away May 5, 2016 at the Marietta Center. He was born Oct. 10, 1953 in Clinton, Iowa son of Betty Jane Kelly Samuelson of Iowa and the late Leonard Ted Samuelson. He was retired from E.I. DuPont. He volunteered with the Fire Dept. at DuPont, was a member of the Jaycees in Iowa and was an assistant Cub Scout leader. Mark enjoyed swimming, water and snow skiing, camping and collected belt buckles. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church of Parkersburg. In addition to his mother, Mark is survived by his wife of 41 years, Bettyann Gould Samuelson; son, Trevor Samuelson of Belpre; brother, Dave Samuelson (Debra) of California; nephew and niece, Jamie Samuelson and Erin Delliquadri (Preston) all of California; and brother-in-law, Joseph Gould (Dawn) of Newman Lake, Washington. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his step-father-in-law and mother-in-law, Betty and Joel Pladna. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
