Mark A. Parsons

Mark A. Parsons, 56, of Washington, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 2, 2018 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born April 14, 1961, in Wayne County, WV, a son of Janice Adkins Parsons and the late Walter D. Parsons. Mark was a 1979 graduate of Parkersburg South High School. He was a U.S. Airforce Veteran. Mark enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren and also loved to fish. He attended Southside Southern Baptist Church on Gihon Rd. In addition to his mother, Mark is survived by his two daughters, Amanda Nicole Ellison (Zack) of Elizabeth, WV. and Jessica Fay Parsons of Marietta, OH; sister, Teena (Tim) Toothman of Washington, WV; brother, Michael (Gerry) Parsons of Vienna, WV; and seven grandchildren, Elijah, Jada, Evan, Jacob, Zack, Malaki and Ashton. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg with Pastor Don Yeager officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
