Mark Thomas Elliott, 54, of Belpre, passed away on January 6, 2011, atCamden-Clark Memorial Hospital in Parkersburg, WV.He was born October 2, 1956, in Clinton, IA, the son of Marvin L. Elliott of Belpre and the late Mary Catherine Pearson Elliott.Mark was a highly respected employee at E. I. DuPont for 33 years. He was a loyal Cub fan and avid fisherman. He also loved the Chicago Bears, landscaping and gardening. Mark was a Roman Catholic by Faith. Mark volunteered for many years in basketball and baseball youth leagues.In addition to his father, Mark leaves behind his loving wife, Sharon L. Hallett Elliott; two lovely daughters, Marrisa Kempel of Pearl City, IL and Nikki Elliott of Belpre, OH; four step-sons, Christopher and Michael King of Belpre, OH and Frederick and William Lawson of FL; two brothers, Paul Elliott, of Orlando, FL and Matthew Elliott of Austin, TX; one sister, Diane Molina of AZ; three grandsons, Jayden, Jarod, Jaxsyn Kempel; and, four step-grandchildren. He will be missed by all the above.In addition to his mother, he was preceded death by a brother Steven Elliott.Private funeral services will be held Tuesday at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Boulevard, Belpre, OH, with Father Robert Gallagher officiating. Burial will be at the Reed-Fairview Memory Gardens in Belpre. Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
