Marion Junior Spragg

Marion Junior Spragg, 86 of Vienna, WV, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017 at the Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born January 20, 1931 in Enterprise, WV, a son of the late William O. and Ella Ruth Bunner Moore. Marion was a US Army Veteran with over 19 years of service where he served during the Korean War and Vietnam Conflict. He was retired from the B&O Railroad with over 21 years of service and a member of the DAV Chapter 32 Murphytown. He enjoyed cars, guns and watching wrestling. Surviving is his wife of 55 years, Etta Sue Anderson Spragg; three children, Jimmie J. Spragg (Beth) of Grove City, OH, Timmie L. Spragg of Vienna, and Susan M. Roach (Stan) of Elizabeth, WV; five grandchildren, Steven Matthew Spragg (Jessica) of Newark, OH, Stephanie Spragg (Tyler Butera) of Maricopa, AZ, Matt Gebhardt (Joanna) of Anchorage, AK, David Gebhardt of Charleston, SC, and Hannah N. Waters (Luke) of Parkersburg; and two great grandchildren, Laine Miller and Norah Grace Waters – due in November. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens with full military rites by American Legion Post 15. Visitation will be from 7-9 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
