Margie Yvonne Tutt

Margie Yvonne Tutt, 79, of Marietta passed away April 1, 2019 at The Arbors at Marietta. She was born July 19, 1939 in Eckman, WV in McDowell County, a daughter of the late Willie and Ethel Johnson Canty. Margie worked at Job Corp as head cook and also for Kodak in Rochester, NY. She loved cooking, baking and decorating cakes. She loved going to the Park and watching people and nature. She also loved going to yard sales. She is survived by a daughter, Lorie Wheeler (Roy) of Rochester, NY; four sons, Kenneth Lane, William Lane, Alexander Lane and Earnest Lane all of Lavonia, NY; five sisters, Josephine Canty of Columbus, OH, Oglivia Chisolm of Phillipi, WV, Claudette McDonald of Parkersburg, Alma Walker and Brenda Canty both of Columbus, OH; two brothers, Victor Canty of Columbus, OH and Gregory Canty of Canandaigus, NY; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, Margie was preceded in death by her first husband, Earnest Lane and her second husband, Robert Tutt; and three sisters, Helen Canty, Glodias Canty and Velma Clifford. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg with Victor Canty officiating. Visitation will be Noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
