Margaret Joan Williams

Margaret J. “Maggie” Williams, age 83 of Parkersburg, WV passed away Sunday, September 22, 2024 at the Camden Clark Medical Center.

She was born September 15, 1941 in Nitro, WV, a daughter of the late Woodrow W. and Edna Jeffers Brightwell. Maggie was retired from Alleghany Power with over 40 years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Maggie is survived by her son, Richard “Rich” Williams, Jr and his wife Suzanne of Parkersburg; brother-in-law, Raymond Pickens of Virginia Beach, VA; sister-in-law, Sharon Southern of Parkersburg; grandchildren, Alexander Williams and wife Anna, Lukas Williams and wife Breaunna, and Makalah and Marissa Williams; two great-grandchildren, Pyper and Karson; special niece, Kerry Wade of Parkersburg and several additional nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Maggie was preceded in death by her husband, Richard C. Williams; her daughter, Kimberly Williams; three sisters, Rosetta Hueston, Betty Wade and Shirley Pickens and two nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, September 28, 2024 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St, South Parkersburg with Rick Marshall officiating. Entombment will follow at the Sunset Memory Gardens and Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
