Margaret Lavania Perkins

Margaret Lavania Perkins age 70, of Belpre, Ohio passed away Friday, September 22, 2017 at the Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born April 10, 1947 in Wood County, WV, a daughter of the late Fay G. and Delma A. Morton Modesitt. Margaret was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting and cooking. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxillary #495 and a member of the Red Hat Society of Belpre. Margaret is survived by her brother, Monroe Modesitt (Deborah) of Belpre; her sister, Loretta Matheny of Belpre; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald P. Perkins; and one brother, Charles M. Modesitt. Memorial services will be held 5:00 p.m. Saturday, September 30, 2017 at the American Legion in Belpre, Ohio. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Blvd. Belpre is assisting the family with arrangements.
