Margaret Ann Bailes

Margaret Ann “Peg” Bailes, 85, of Parkersburg passed away November 21, 2024 at WVU Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born June 19, 1939, a daughter of the late Frank and Merle Upling Sarver.

She was a graduate from Parkersburg High School. She retired after several years of service as a secretary from the Burea of Public Debt. She enjoyed crafts and painting. She was a true lover of animals, especially cats of which she rescued many over the years.

Left to carry her memory include her sons Robert and Richard Bailes; her siblings, Jack Sarver, Dave Sarver, and Sharon; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Bailes; and three sisters, Kay, Pat, and Linda.

Per Margaret’s final wishes, there will be no public services at this time.

Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, south Parkersburg, has been entrusted with her final wishes and is honored to serve the Bailes family.
