Marcia Faith Godbey

Marcia Faith Godbey, 68, of Mineral Wells, passed away November 11, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born August 1, 1956 in Parkersburg, to the late Cecil I. and Juanita E. McCauley Dailey.

She was the owner/operator at Leaps of Faith Bakery/Red Barn Diner, for seven years. She also worked for Cracker Barrell for eighteen years. She was very active in The Gathering Church and was known as the lunch lady. She was very involved with the kids club at The Gathering Church. She also attended Tri-County Worship and 14th Avenue Gospel Mission.

Marcia is survived by her loving husband, Jack Godbey; children, Brad Smith (Melody) of Parkersburg, Bryan Smith of Goshen, Indiana, Lori Drake (Charles) of Parkersburg, and Brandi Godbey of Elizabeth; her sister, Alice Reeves (Larry) of Mineral Wells; grandchildren, Alex Smith, Lexi Davy (Josh), Peyton Smith, Zac Smith, Kainen Drake, Gracie Vass (Doniven), and Wyatt Hughes; and great-grandchildren, Mayci, Jonah, and Elijah.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 15, 2024 at Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, south Parkersburg, with Pastor Joseph Dolpies officiating. The family will accept visitors from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, November 14, 2024 at the funeral home.
